Three cards in a day.

This is my third card post for today. I wanted this bike to look old and nostalgic, but, I just couldn't help myself. When it was all finished I just had to add Crystal Lacquer. I know an old bike isn't shiny, but, somehow I just couldn't stop myself from making a shiny, red, bike. I didn't even wait for the Crystal Lacquer to dry before I took the pic! tfl.......d

Sometimes it pays to be old!

I wanted this card to have a sewing feel to it. Good thing I used to sew and kept my old supplies! I used some old lace, black ric rac and buttons out of my stash. I haven't looked through these old laces for years. I found lots of treasures! tfl....d

Blankie baby

This little baby is a stamp line from my local stamp store, Stamping Fools, in Upland CA. I cut the blanket off of the image when I stamped it and added my own blanket. The blanket is Aida cloth for counted cross stitch and I sprayed it with Glimmer Mist to add a bit of color. The sentiment is cut off a piece of patterned paper by K & Company. tfl.......d

Simple typewriter card

This simple little birthday card is made using the Doodletype Cricut cartridge. The typewriter is my favorite cut on this cartridge! Just a simple card, but, it can be used for a male birthday card, and those are the ones that are so hard for me to make. tfl......d

What do I do with this stamp?

My local stamp store asked me to make a sample with this stamp. I looked at it and thought......what on earth will I do with this? I stamped it on green cardstock with clear embossing ink, and used clear embossing powder, then stamped it on white cardstock and used white embossing powder, again with Encore pink ink and clear embossing powder and layered all of that. Added some tiny white punched out flowers to the shell with Viva Pearl pen in Ice White dots for the centers of the flowers. Whew, this was a tough one! tfl...........d

Bunnies in pots.

These little bunnies are a Penny Black stamp. I love the little bird! The bird is poppped up with mounting tape and so are the bunnies and the rims of the pots. It's hard to tell in the pic though. I used my Copics to color the image....love those things! tfl.....d

Boquet bear

This little bear looks like he can't wait to give these flowers to someone special. I added some Stickles to the flowers, Flower Soft to the centers, and popped them up a bit. tfl............d

Scallop/Doily card video #9

Scalloped card with a doily

I love this scalloped card from the Wild Card cartridge! I have used it so many times. I added a paper doily, Martha Stewart butterfly punch, Starburst Spray, and some Glimmer mist. I have a video uploading for this card and will post it as soon as it is ready. tfl.......d

Big ol dinosaur!

This dinosaur card is huge! For the first time, I decided to make one of the samples that comes on the first page of the Cricut handbook. This dinosaur is for my grandsons 7th birthday. When you follow the Cricut directions, it turns out to be 6" x 8". Now, to find an envelope in my stash for this thing! tfl............d

Glitter bee

The last glitter card! At least I think it is the last glitter card. I have to drop it off at the stamp store and see if they feel like they have enough samples with the glitter. This really is a fun product to play with, messy, but fun! I didn't have any clear glitter for the wings, so, my only option was black. tfl......d

Sparkly ladybug

Another glitter card. I have one more to go and then it is on to something different!
This background paper actually had blue dots on it, but, I colored them black so they would match the card. I have glitter everywhere now. Good thing I remembered not to turn on my ceiling fan! tfl.......d

Glitter, glitter, everywhere

I am playing around with this new glitter (at least, it is new to me), and it is so fine, that it goes everywhere! After it is applied to the card, you can run your finger across it and barely feel it. I had to play with some different techniques, with transfer tape and some very sticky tape. I think I will make a few more cards with this glitter, it was fun to use. The glitter is, Glitter Ritz. Mighty fine stuff I tell ya! tfl............d

Dress form

This dress form is a clear stamp set from Hero Arts. I added some snaps from the sewing department, and some zig zag stitching on my sewing machine. The flower is a Nestabilitie (Blossom) and the paper is Bo Bunny! Even when I try to step "out of the box", I still realized I chose Bo Bunny paper! tfl.........d

Oven door closed

Oven door open

This is the oven card with the door open. I used the template and is a lot more work than the one with the acetate window!
