Pastel Nativity

Wishing you a wonderful and blessed Christmas. I painted this years ago and thought I would take a pic of it and post it before it gets packed away for the year. MERRY CHRISTMAS. d

Is it over yet? (Santa)

This weeks challenge was the gifts on the New Arrival cartridge. I cut them starting at 3 inches, up to 7 inches and layered them around this Santa. My hubby works retail and I painted this for him a few years back. Working retail during the holidays means, looooooooooooong hours and unfortunately, it also includes, some cranky customers! tfl.........d

Pillowcases for the boys

Each month I would make pillowcases for my three grandsons, for the holiday of that month. Now they are asking for pillowcases of movies they like. The request was for Wall E and Batman. I made Halloween and Thanksgiving for our new little boy that is due in March. I better go buy some Christmas fabric while it is still available and get his December one done..........even though he won't be in a big boy bed for about two years! tfl...............d

Doggie treats

This weeks challenge was Spot from the Paper Pups cartridge. I made a box of treats for my grand-doggies. The box is from Regina's Cutting Cafe site and I used a heart shape Colluzzle for the window on the box.

Christmas Stocking

Did you ever buy cardstock/paper............almost finish your project and need ONE more piece? Well, I have done that more than once, but, this time I did it twice! I had to go back to the Scrapbook store two more times because I needed ONE more sheet of this cardstock, twice! Originally, I only bought it for the stocking, ran short by one piece, went back and bought it, then decided to use it as one of the layers, and had to go back again. Good thing the price of gas has gone down. Anyway, this stocking is a Sizzix die. I think little jingle bells would be so cute haning from the cuff, but, thought about the cost of mailing a batch of these guys out and decided to try something flatter. I bought some red sequins at Michaels today (may as well, go there since I was using gas to go to the scrapbook store for the ONE piece of cardstock). I have never used sequins on a card before. Added a little rhinestone bling in the center. The circle sentiment is from Regina's Cutting Cafe' site...http://reginascutterdesigns.blogspot.com/
