Hello

I ran this white cardstock through an embossing folder. Chalked the flowers and leaves and used Pearl Pens for the center of the flowers. I die cut the "hello" three times each and layered them on top of each other (My Creative Time). Added Wink of Stella on the "hello". When I first made these I was adding bling to the flower centers but it was very time consuming and the pearl pens looked much better. Thanks for popping by. Have a wonderful day!     dianne

Lawn Fawn and Sizzix

I needed a get well card for  friend and I came up with this. The stamps with matching dies are from Lawn Fawn, Get well soon. The card die is from Sizzix. triple circle flip its. The matching dies help me out because I have a hard time fussy cutting because my meds make my hands shake. Being able to die cut around the image works for me My hubby took the pic for me. Crafting with cancer.

Hello my sweet friends. A little update. When I went for chemo a week and half ago, the dr. noticed something wasn't quite right with me. I had a stroke. I went straight for an MRI and was admitted to the emergency room. I was really confused and still am a little bit. We have to make some decisions. I chose no brain surgery, but said I would have radiation on my brain again. Ten rounds but that is the last step in radiation. My hair just started to grow back and it's all going to fall out again. Not sure if I will be on the chemo IV anymore, but definitely won't take any more chemo pills. One of the other choices was to stop all chemo and get put on hospice and may have 6 months to live. I told my family I will do what  I can but when I will know when it's enough. I have five little grandsons to watch grow.
Now onto the crafting part............There has been 3 times when I thought my time had come. What brought me out of it and gave me hope and joy? Being able to make cards again and enjoy my time here.Instead of just laying here, I found creating so important for my days and mailing people cards that made them happy. I love creating! Thank you for all of your thoughts, and prayers and support.

It feels so good to make a card

I used My Creative Time for the Fun size bow and Elizabeth Crafts  for the Happy Birthday. A few hand cut banners and sequins and it's done.

I made this quick card for my hubby. He wasn't home when I posted this so I had to be inventive to take a pic of this card. I propped my pillow up on my open laptop and it sort of worked!
Update: I woke up one morning and I could hardly hear. My hubby had to face me when he talked so I could try to read his lips. A few different Dr. appointments later and I had to have tubes put in my ears (am I 5? ) My grandsons had that done, but they were 5). I can hear better now. My grandsons had to go to the hospital and have it done. I just had a regular appointment at the Dr's office. It took about 10 minutes. I definitely understand why they have to go under anesthesia because it is so loud when they are working in your ear, a little one would never be able to lay still. I used products from My Creative Time and a Cuttlebug embossing folder. The folder has large hearts all over it, but most of it is hidden by the layers.  The photo looks like the card is bowed out of shape, but, the card is flat in person. I probably won't use my pillow as a background any more! tfl......................dianne

Great day!

Today was a great day! I've been dreading to find out the results of my MRI. It was really good news. The cancer on the left side of my brain doesn't even show up and the cancer on the right side of my brain is smaller. I'm very blessed.
I have missed making cards so much. I made Easter cards for my grandsons and forgot to take a picture for my blog. I need to work on my grandsons scrapbook, but I need to get some cards made!

Thank you for hanging in there with me.......dianne

April update

I had 3 Dr. appointments this week. On Monday I saw an ear specialist about my hearing, or lack of hearing! I have fluid behind my eardrums. My hearing has improved but not completely. If it doesn't improve I may have to have tubes put in my ears. Oh, my grandsons are going to get a kick out of that! They had to get tubes when they were little and probably didn't think that was for old people!
Tuesday I had chemo and Wednesday I had an MRI. Dr. is checking to see if the Tycurb pills are helping the cancer in my brain or not. Thank you for your prayers, they are giving me so much comfort.

Update

Update
I started on the Tycurb two weeks ago. I had to take a two day break from it. It was making me so sick. The radiation on my brain has some interesting side effects. My teeth got loose and one of my crowns fell out. I woke up one morning and could barely hear. My hubby had to face me when he talked because I couldn't hear what he was saying. Most of my hair is gone now, I had to bring out the beenies.
One day at a time
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
