Welcome baby Zachary!

I'm in Vegas right now, with my brand new grandson, Zachary Jacob. His big brothers are so excited! He is beautiful and so soft and snuggly. We brought him home from the hospital last night. He hasn't figured out his lungs yet........he squeaks like a kitty. Such cute little noises. I'm sure he will find his lungs soon and let out some good wails.

Flat challenge

I challenged myself to make a "flat" card. No buttons, eyelets, bows, brads, nothing.......just a flat card. It was hard! I love embellishments. I don't think I will be making too many more flat cards, but, at least this will be easy to mail.

Ghirardelli box

I made one of the little boxes to hold the Ghirardelli chocolate squares. I could only fit three in mine instead of four like the pattern called for. It was an easy project and fun to make! I love lime green and pink together! tfl......d

Diaper Pin card

This weeks challenge was the letter "b" from the Alphalicious cartridge. I cut chipboard and the patterend paper for the b and mounted it onto the diaper pin from the Wild Card cartridge, then mounted that onto a white card. This is the first time I have used the Wild Card cartridge and I LOVE IT! It's a fun cartridge and I can't wait to play with it again.

Potted bunnies

A row of potted bunnies! A little Fun Flock on the bunnies tail, some Crystal Lacquer on the snails, layered pots, and a rhinestone on the word....Somebunny.......tfl.........d

Treat yourself

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh..........doesn't this bunny look relaxed? I used a tonic punch for the ribbon threading, Fiskars scalloped border punch and some Crystal Lacquer on the bubbles. I love the soft look of this paper. (makes me want to take a nap!)tfl........d

Bunnies

I have been asked to make a few card samples for a local stamp shop (Stamping Fools). I made three yesterday because we may be heading to Vegas any day to see our new grandson who is trying to make an early appearance! I love this pink and green striped paper. It is done on the diagonal so it was fun to turn it different ways to get different looks for this card. tfl........d

CD card #2

This is CD card number 2. I have one more in mind to do and then I think it is time to move on to another design! This one is for this weeks challenge at the BBTB site using the word Love from the Home Accents cartridge. tfl.......d

CD Envelope shaker card

It's been awhile since I made these CD envelope shaker cards. I saw a tutorial on Maria's site a year or more ago and forgot about them until she recently posted another tutorial. http://stampininspirations.blogspot.com/2009/01/pink-cat-studio-sneak-peek-day-3-and-cd.html I used a Penny Black stamp, Paper Shapers corner punch, and Coluzzle for the purple circle border. I'll be posting a few more of these. tfl.....d

Valentines Heart

This large, scalloped heart is from the Doodlecharms cartridge. Doodlecharms has always been a fave of mine. It's so versatile. The small hearts and the heart border are both Martha Stewart punches. I had a chance to go to Roberts and Hobby Lobby while I was in Utah. I love those stores! Sure wish we had them here in California. They sell Nestabilities in Hobby Lobby and you can use a coupon! My sister had no idea why I was so excited about that. I was smiling all the way to the checkstand! tfl......d
