Whale punch-Martha

This little whale is a Martha punch. It just told me it needed to be for a baby boy card, even though I have no one to give a baby boy card to at the moment! I made the wave on my Gypsy by welding the wave from the Paper Doll cartridge. tfl..............d

Ladybug-new Martha Stewart spring punch

Thanks Holly! My friend, Holly, told me about the new Martha Stewart spring punches at Michaels. There are so many cute, new ones. This ladybug border is so fun. I posted this card earlier today without adding the black to the heads and just didn't like it. It bugged me so much that I deleted the post, and colored the heads with a black marker. I like it better now! tfl............d

Our daughter passed her test this week and is now a CNA. She has been working really hard to become a nurse! We're so proud of her. This card is for her.

Look out world.........he's on the move!

Look out world.........Zack is walking! He turned 9 months old last Wednesday and started walking. Cody has his first loose tooth, Nick is 8 now and will be baptized this Saturday and Landon took his first train ride. While they were busy growing up, I made this card. The phone is on the From My Kitchen cartridge, and is this weeks BBTB challenge. tfl................d

Little Blue Penguin

I seem to be making a lot of blue cards recently. I used the Martha Stewart snowflake corner punch and also her large snowflake punch. I ran the large snowflake through my Xyron upside down, and added some Martha glitter, then popped the snowflake up with a pop dot. There is also some white fun flock on the ball of the hat. Thank you grammat for the snowflake punches! I used the matching border one on the card below this one. tfl....................d

Baby...........it's cold outside

Using up the old..............an old stamp, ribbon from last year (I really did plan on using it......just didn't happen) fun flock on the hat............I can't remember the last time I used fun flock, and Crystal lacquer. I added Crystal lacquer to the beak and feet after I took this pic. The sentiment is from Regina's printable site, the Cutting Cafe. Check out all the fun things she has on her site here...

Snowman in Blue

I just got this chubby little Whipper Snapper snowman and had to ink him up! The swirls are from an EK Success border punch, the scalloped circle card is from the Wild Card cartridge, the snowflake is a Martha punch, and the rest is Stickled! tfl..........d

Embossing and sparkle!

I got a little carried away with the stickles on this one. Everything got stickled! I was inspired to stickle because of this glittery ribbon I bought at Michaels. I used a new embossing folder for the background and my favorite dot embossing folder on the bird. I use that dot one so often, love it! Word of warning........if you use this ribbon, you will have sparkles everywhere! Some of it comes off.......... tfl............d

Give Thanks

I'm bouncing back and forth between fall cards and Christmas cards. I much prefer to make Christmas cards because I'm never quite happy with the fall cards I make. This may be the only one. I had to cut out an extra arm and pop it away from her dress so that the little cut out pumpkin could sit behind her hand. Oops, timer is going off, gotta get some cookies out of the oven....tfl....d

Frosty friends

What a cute, chubby penguin. He is from the Joys of the Season cart, and the Snowmen are from the new Snow Friends. A little stickles on the snow area and glitter on the Martha punched snowflake. I made this card on Halloween day when it was 85 degrees outside. I almost put on some Christmas music just to try to get in the mood for this card! Next month is Christmas............yikes!

You're so sweet

I've been scrapbooking (finally) and am behind on my cardmaking. I finally sat down today and made this little strawberry card. Not exactly a fall card, but, it's still sunny and warm here. tfl.............d

Boo to you

These little ghosties are cut from the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge. The spider web punch is from Martha Stewart and the Boo to you stamp is Judith. I'm making my sister a batch of miscellaneous cards for Christmas (good thing she doesn't ever check my blog!). She wants them to be flat and easy to mail. It's hard to make cards without many embellies! tfl............d

Of all the weird things...........

Of all the weird things that show up on Halloween, I like you best. This stamp cracks me up! This weeks challenge was the monster on the Paper Dolls cartridge. I added some funny feet and sponged some black ink on the papers. Check out the fun monsters that the other girls came up with..........tfl...........d

Cupcake anyone?

Do you hate to cover up cute patterned paper? I thought this paper was so cute, that I didn't want to cover it up, so, I added some Stickles to it and kept the card simple! tfl...................d

EEK!

I love this little witch stamp from Belles 'n Whistles. I don't usually care for witch images, but, I thought she was pretty cute. I used a Martha Stewart EEEK punch and her spider web border punch. The background is from a Cuttlebug spider web embossing folder, using Core'dinations cardstock that is sanded. Stickles on the bow, Copic markers, and black ink sponged onto the white and yellow cardstock, and I think that's about it! tfl...............d

Priceless

This weeks challenge was the Priceless tag cut from the Graphically Speaking cartridge. I had to use my stash for this one, since I was without a car this week. I love this old baby buggy stamp. I added some Crystal Lacquer to the little heart punch on the tag and that's about it for this one! tfl................d

A little thank you

I made this thank you card for my sis. She sent me a care package while I was recouping from surgery that was filled with the funniest things. It made me smile and was the highlight of my day. I think this little Tilda is so sweet. I added some Crystal Lacquer to the middle of the flower. I couldn't beleive that I have zillions of flowers and not a single purple flower that matched this card, so, I inked the edges of a white one and a yellow one to add more color. tfl.......d

Oopsy daisy

I'm back. After three and a half weeks of recouping from surgery, today was going to be my big day out...........I was going to run errands and get out into the world, but.......hubby's truck broke last night and he had to take my car to work. So, if I'm stuck home one more day, I should stamp, right? I made this card for my sister. She has M S and has taken a few falls lately. I thought this turtle stamp was so cute, and have been waiting for the energy to play with it. tfl.....d

Cranky Zack

Whitney took the boys to the museum and Zach was not enjoying his learning experience! I love this pic of him and had to post it here. He is such a smiley baby and I have never seen this face on him before. It cracked me up. I am healing and can't wait to get back to my stamp table, hopefully that will be soon.

Tilda and a bee

I just love Tilda! This stamp is so cute with the bee. The challenge this week was to use the card cut with matching envelope from Walk In My Garden. The envy had to be yellow. I bought this bee/daisy frame stamp as a used stamp a while ago and thought it would be perfect for the address section of the envelope. A little bit of stickles on the bees wings, some Copics for coloring, and that's about it! The bee in her hand is popped up with mounting tape. Have a wonderful week everyone........tfl..................d

Is it winter yet?

This weeks challenge was the snowflake cut from Accent Essentials. I am SO ready for cooler weather! The snowflake is cut three times, once in silver and twice in white. I ran the top layer through my Xyron upside down and added glitter to the top layer. The brad is just a plain white brad that I pounced on an embossing ink pad, and added sparkly embossing powder to and heat set. I used the new Martha Stewart loop punches for the border. They are just arriving at Michaels now. I saw a few more cute ones that I may have to run over and pick up today...........that is if my new little rescue doggie can handle me being gone for an hour.......................she sure has a fit when I leave! tfl.........................d

Simple Cupcake

These are very simple cupcake cards for card class. The card is cut using the Wild Card cartridge. I ran the candle flame upside down through the Xyron, and added some glitter. The frosting was run through the Cuttlebug with the swirl embossing folder. I think the red one can be used for just about anyone, and the hot pink one is more girly. I can always use a few extra birthday cards in my stash. These cupcakes are making me hungry, but, there is no way I am turning on my oven in this heat! For now, cardstock cupcakes will have to do! tfl..............d

Is it fall yet?

I saw this pumpkin stamp yesterday and HAD to buy it! The stamp and the word stamp are both by Judith. The word stamp is on a wooden mount with three other sayings, all in one stamp. Too fun! It has been in the low 100's here and I think I am ready for fall already. I added black Stickles to the hat, and Crystal Lacquer to the pumpkin's nose and smile. Ahhhhhhhhh.................fall..............can't wait for the cooler weather. tfl......d

Cupcake border and punch.

This little cupcake border is a Whipper Snapper stamp and the cupcake is a McGill punch. I cut one of the cupcakes off of the stamped image to make the border a bit shorter, and used a Tonic punch for the four holes along the side. This card was made out of the scraps I had left over from the samples for the lss. I will drop these two cards off to them tomorrow and see if there is something else there that catches my eye to play with...........tfl................d

Maybe a cupcake will help?

I think this saying is too cute! Love it. The little cupcake chef is from Inky Antics. I added some stickles to the frosting on his stack of cupcakes, and used my Copic Spica pen for the cherries on the cupcakes on the patterned paper. I love this cupcake paper. It is so blasting hot here! In the 100's and too hot to go anwhere but into my stamp room to play. Thanks goodness for air conditioning. tfl.....d

B is for Baby Boy

Another sample card for my local lss. I cut the letter b with my Cricut, using Base Camp. I love that cartridge! Base Camp and Doodlecharms are the two I have always used the most. tfl................d

Girlfriends

I have a few stamps from my lss that they want samples for. This Penny Black girlfriend stamp is so sweet. I made one girl comfy and one girl, girly. I used the Copic Spica pens to make her outfit "blingy" and shiny. We had a breakthrough tonight. Our new little rescue doggy finally had the courage to come into my stamp room and hang out while I stamped!

Relax

Relax! I love this Penny Black stamp. The little hedgehoggy looks so comfy. Cut out and popped out some small pieces on this one.......the daisies, bows, butterfly, and bear. Added some Stickles to the bows and butterfly and some Flower Soft to the daisy centers. It was nice to get back to my stamp room. I could not get Shelby to come in with me. She stayed out in the family room and had an afternoon nap. She will have to get used to stamp room..........I'm in there a lot. Maybe she just needed a little "me" time :)

My forever home

I made this card for Kelli, the sweet foster mommy who has been taking care of our little doggie for the past two months. We should be getting our new little one soon. This house card is on the Wild Card cartridge. This cartridge sure has some cute card cuts on it. Lots of different shapes and envys to match. I think this card is out of proportion. The window cut is too big, but, it was fun to play with anyway. tfl.............d

Our new furbaby

Look who we're adopting! This sweet little girl was picked up by a high kill shelter and was RESCUED by MuttsnStuff. She was pregnant, and pregnant dogs are euthenized. After being fostered by her sweet foster mommy, with her three puppies for two months, she is now ready for a forever home.....and that home is with us. After she is spayed on Monday she gets to come home and get spoiled. She has had a rough two years, but, from now on, she will be loved. Thank you MuttsnStuff and thank you Kelli for saving this sweet little girls life.
UPDATE............she is getting spayed tomorrow morning (Tuesday), so we should have her in a few days.

Miss You

Another WhipperSnapper stamp. This card sure looks simple, but, seemed to take forever to make! I added a second layer to the wagon, her shoes and her pocket. There is Stickles on the sun and her hair ties, and some Perfect Pearls for the centers of the paper flowers. Good thing I have a magnifier on my light, or I never would have been able to cut out all those tiny pieces.......Yikes!

Happy Birthday Bear

I made this card for my lss, with a Penny Black stamp. I cut the balloon, using the Celebrations Cricut cartridge. The balloon is popped up, the bear is popped up, and some extra balloons are also popped up with mounting tape. I added Crystal Lacquer to the balloons to make them shiney and "ballooney looking" This pic came out terrible. The second layer is yellow, but, sure doesn't look yellow in this pic :(

Bunch of love

I love this Judith stick tree stamp. It's an oldie, but a goodie. It can be used for so many different holidays and occasions. I punched out the little hearts and after they were attached to the tree I added some Crystal Lacquer to them. I had to get it done before we leave for Vegas, again. The baby's surgery is Tuesday, so if you could keep him in your thoughts and prayers we would all be very greatful.

Play Ball!

I made this little WhipperSnapper baseball boy for my lss. I cut a circle with my George Cricut cartridge, cut the circle in half, and tried to make it look like a baseball. (not sure if I succeeded though!). I think this little guy is so cute! tfl.........d

Inspired by a dress..

Last Sunday at church, the little girl sitting in front of me, had on the sweetest dress. I looked at that dress and thought it would make a cute card, so, I quickly sketched it out. I really was paying attention to the speaker while I did this! Honest, I was! The dress had three rows of pintucking on each side and it looked like scor pal scored lines to me.......maybe I have card making on my mind a little too much. Anyway...........this is the card that was inspired by a dress. (after I posted this I realized I forgot to add stickles to the bees wings, so I went back and did that, but, didn't take a new pic)

Happy Graduation Landon

I made this card for my little grandson, Landon. He graduated from kindergarten this week. His school colors are green and maroon, but, I used red instead. I don't really think he will notice............he may not even really care what the colors are. He will probably be happy to get his own mail, and some money! I can't beleive that he is already a 1st grader. tfl................d

Tilda on a mushroom

This weeks challenge was the mushroom from the Tinkerbell cartridge. I had to let this little Tilda use this mushroom as a comfy place to sit. I found this mushroom background paper and had to use it on this card. Colored her with Copics and added some Paper Glaze to her bow and some fun, felt flower trim that I found in the dollar bin at Michaels tfl.............d

Sunflower Tilda Again

Here she is.....the exact same Tilda! I colored two of them when I posted the original card and decided to make a card out of the "spare" Tilda. The bucket of flowers is a Judith stamp that's been in my stash for a long time. It finally got its chance to come out and play today. It's been so hot here and today we had a bit of drizzle. I needed these sunflowers to brighten up the day. tfl.......d

Card class samples

Just a few things we will be making at card class next week. The onesies are a
Sizzix Bigz die. The center card is an idea from Dawn http://dawnsstampingthoughts.typepad.com/ It's the first time I have tried stamping white Staz On, on acetate. I love it, just have to keep the stamp from sliding around! Just a few simple samples.....tfl......d

Another Tilda!

I am loving playing with these Tilda's and Copics. Added a bit of Flower Soft, Paper Glaze and Stickles. It was fun using lilacs and purples. I rarely use those colors and it was a fun change. I need to get out of my pink and blue rut! tfl.....d

Turtles don't have hands!

I love this saying, and I love this turtle stamp, and even if turtles don't have hands, I still think this saying works with the turtle! I used my new Papertrey cardstock and patterned paper. I have tons of ribbon, honestly, I do, but, found a reason to justify all of the Papertrey ink and ribbon I have on my wish list. I wanted to ink the edges and didn't have an ink that matched and had to use white ribbon for the same reason. I guess I need to pay Papertrey a visit! In case the saying is too small to read when I post this card, it sais....
When you take a flower in your hand and really look at it, it is your world for a moment. tfl.......d

Hippo Hippo Hooray

Fourth and final card for todays challenges. I found this cute little hippo stamp yesterday and wanted to try out my new Copics. I definitely need to learn how to use them, but, had to start somewhere, right? I love them already. tfl.......d

3rd Card of the Day

This is my 3rd card today.......it was challenge #10, to use a circle or an oval. I love this scalloped Bigz die. Added the Nestabilitie ovals and ta da....a quick and simple card!

Robyn's Mother's Day challenge

This is my take on Robyn's Mother's Day card challenge. My sweet Hazel loves purple, and this card is for her. I bought a few of the new QuicKutz embossing folders yesterday and decided to use this one for the challenge. I also used (for the first time ) Core'dinations Classic Sunshine cardstock and sanded over the embossing. Another simple card, that makes two for the day so far...........tfl....d

A card in under an hour?

Robyn at the Pink Stamper http://www.thepinkstamper.blogspot.com/

is having challenges on her blog today for National Scrapbook day. Go check out her site, there are lots of fun things going on there! I challenged myself to make a card in an hour. Probably not a lofty goal for most, but, I am the SLOWEST stamper on the planet, so, it was quite a goal for me. I did challenge number 1.......Use pink and brown together. I guess I could also count this as challenge number 2 because I have never used my Cuttlebug to cut felt before, but, I will try to come up with something else for that challenge. Today on Lauren's site, she had a tutorial on cutting felt in your Cuttlebug, so, I gave it a whirl. It worked great! Here is the link to her site. http://laurenm.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/ I forgot to look at the clock when I started making the card, but, I think my hour was up, so, even though I thought of a few things I could add to the card, I stopped. tfl......d

Cupcake/Versatility box

I saw this tutorial on Lauren's blog. She designed this really cute box, and I had to try making one. You can get the info on her site: http://laurenm.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/category/tutorials/

Inside is the little flower pot from the Target dollar spot. Having a Scor-Pal really helps for making all of the score lines. Love that tool! tfl.......d
