Same recipe, different design
I used the same recipe to make this card as I did with the "Chillin with my Peeps" card. My husband's employees gave him a gift card to the Grand Hotel at Disneyland so that we could go there and have some of their yummy hot chocolate. This card is a thank you to them. The mug is from the Christmas Cheer Cricut cartridge, and then ran through the Cuttlebug with the dots emobssing folder. I added some Glossy Accents to the chocolate to make it look shiny and some Liquid Applique for the whipped cream. I love hot chocolate! tfl.........d

Back to cardmaking
Christmas is over and it's time to get back to my stamp room. I needed to get this card made for the local stamp store, and it was so fun to get back to stamping. These two stamps are Whippersnapper and I thought the sentiment stamp was so cute. tfl.........d

Another snowman, but, it's red!
I made another snowman card, but, at least it is red and not blue this time! The snowman is an old Penny Black stamp that I bought at a used stamp sale, and the sentiment is from the Cutting Cafe snowman set.

The head, sign and pumpkins are popped up and some Stickles on the pumpkins cuffs and hat band. A small brad in the center of the flower on the hat and a leaf button with some twine. Lots of layers on this one! tfl........d

No frills, no bling!
I made this skater card for my grandson for his birthday. No ribbon, no stickles, no bling, eek! I think he is probably going to enjoy a card that isn't so cutesy. This cut is from the Dude Lite cartridge that is exculsive to WalMart. He is asking for a skateboard for his birthday. I don't know if he is getting it or not, but, at least he is getting a skateboard card! tfl............d
Sharing isn't always a good thing
My hubby shared his cough/cold with me. It's not always a good thing to share! It knocked me down for a week, but, I finally have some energy back and made this card. The tree with kitty stamp is from Stamping Fools in Upland, CA. and the sentiment is from Make an Impression. I thought they went together pretty well. I added a glittered star to the top of the tree, some Stickles to the tree, and some Glossy Accents to the bulbs and holly berries. It's nice to be creating again! tfl.....d

Cupcake card from the Imagine Yummy cartridge
This simple cupcake card was made with the new Yummy cartridge and my Imagine machine. I make birthday cards for all of the ladies at church each month and I need cards that are simple and easy to mail (without the extra postage), but, I kept one out and added a bow to it. The Imagine did all of the work for me. Inked it and cut it out. I think this cartridge is going to be perfect for making these cards each month! I added some Glossy Accents to the cherry and some Stickles to the swirls on the cupcake wrapper. tfl.......d

I got the 4th Snowman card finished. Now it is back to Halloween! I really don't like how I colored the cat, wish I had used grey.......oh well............sigh....

Have a "COOL" Yule!

I'ts pink eye!
We were going to visit our daughter this afternoon and found out she has pink eye. I made this card up really quick to take to her. The one-eyed monster is from the Mini Monster Cricut cartridge. Of course I had to make the eye pink!

Ghostie tree
I added some little ghosties to this tree from Happy Hauntings. For some reason, I liked a bit of the yellow base layer poking out in random places under the tree branches. Normally, these would be covered up by the top layer, but, I liked it showing. I don't know why! tfl.......d

I think I got it done in an hour!
I forgot to look at the clock when I started! This one is for our little Zack man.
The pumpkin is off of the Cricut Paper Dolls cartridge. I had to keep this one simple so that he doesn't swallow any little parts or pieces.
A card in an hour?
I tried to make a card in an hour. I just can't quite do it! But, I did come close!
This skeleton is from the Happy Hauntings cartridge, the haunted house is a cling mount stamp from Hero Arts. I may try again to see if I can get one done in an hour!

I needed to make a Get Well card when I returned. Made this one up with an image sent to me by a very sweet friend. tfl.....d

Friends hug your heart
This stamp is so sweet. The little girls are from Penny Black and the sentiment is Inky Antics. I added a Martha heart border punch to tie it all together. It's true......friends do hug your heart! tfl....d
Happy Birthday monkey
When I was coloring this little monkey stamp from Whipper Snapper, I realized it comes with two tails! I thought something didn't look right! There is a second tail on the stamp that comes out of the top of his head, so, you can use it if you want him to be hanging from a tree branch or something. You have to cut one of the tails off after you stamp, or, mask one off first. I'm glad I noticed it before I made the card......................tfl....d

Three cards in a day.
This is my third card post for today. I wanted this bike to look old and nostalgic, but, I just couldn't help myself. When it was all finished I just had to add Crystal Lacquer. I know an old bike isn't shiny, but, somehow I just couldn't stop myself from making a shiny, red, bike. I didn't even wait for the Crystal Lacquer to dry before I took the pic! tfl.......d
Sometimes it pays to be old!
I wanted this card to have a sewing feel to it. Good thing I used to sew and kept my old supplies! I used some old lace, black ric rac and buttons out of my stash. I haven't looked through these old laces for years. I found lots of treasures! tfl....d
Blankie baby
This little baby is a stamp line from my local stamp store, Stamping Fools, in Upland CA. I cut the blanket off of the image when I stamped it and added my own blanket. The blanket is Aida cloth for counted cross stitch and I sprayed it with Glimmer Mist to add a bit of color. The sentiment is cut off a piece of patterned paper by K & Company. tfl.......d

Simple typewriter card
This simple little birthday card is made using the Doodletype Cricut cartridge. The typewriter is my favorite cut on this cartridge! Just a simple card, but, it can be used for a male birthday card, and those are the ones that are so hard for me to make. tfl......d

What do I do with this stamp?
My local stamp store asked me to make a sample with this stamp. I looked at it and thought......what on earth will I do with this? I stamped it on green cardstock with clear embossing ink, and used clear embossing powder, then stamped it on white cardstock and used white embossing powder, again with Encore pink ink and clear embossing powder and layered all of that. Added some tiny white punched out flowers to the shell with Viva Pearl pen in Ice White dots for the centers of the flowers. Whew, this was a tough one! tfl...........d

Bunnies in pots.
These little bunnies are a Penny Black stamp. I love the little bird! The bird is poppped up with mounting tape and so are the bunnies and the rims of the pots. It's hard to tell in the pic though. I used my Copics to color the image....love those things! tfl.....d
